CLEVELAND, Ohio – The law enforcement
officials in Cleveland reported that two people were shot outside a barbershop
in the west side of Cleveland on Tuesday.
Other news media outlet reported that the owner of a beauty salon
near the barbershop was arrested in connection with the shooting incident.
Investigators say that the incident that started the shooting was
a dispute over a parking space, according to the reports.
The incident took place in the Epic barbershop at West 112th
Street and Lorain Avenue where the officers from the Cleveland
Division of Police were
called to respond after shots rang in the area.
Upon the arrival of the officers, they found a victim in a
stairwell between the Epic
barbershop and the Heads Up
salon with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The other victim of the shooting incident was located inside the
salon. The owner of the salon was arrested without incident. No charges have
been filed.
Reports say that one of the victims in the incident was having his
hair cut in the barbershop when the woman got inside the barbershop and
demanded that the man move his car. Foul languages were used by the woman.
The woman went out of the barbershop and returned approximately
fifteen minutes later. She was with four guys whom the victim said had guns
that are protruding on their waists, according to the reports.
The woman pointed at the man who was having his hair cut and the
man walked out of the barbershop. One of the men tried to punch the victim but
missed. The other suspect pulled out his weapon and started unloading it
towards him, reports say.
The suspects then fled from the scene in a tan Lincoln Navigator.
