Elderly Couple Assaulted by Teens

COLUMBUS, Ohio – It was only last week when it was reported that juveniles were involved in a hate crime. Today reports indicated that other teens were arrested in connection with the incident in a bar last week. The incident happened in Cleveland at the outside Cocktails Lounge, a gay bar. The latest person who was arrested was a seventeen-year-old boy, according to the reports.

Now, three teens are reported to have been arrested for assaulting an elderly couple in the east side of Columbus early Tuesday afternoon. The hope of tomorrow is turning out to be the persons who will destroy the future for humanity.

Officers from the Columbus Division of Police were called to respond to a home in the area of Refugee and Denmark Roads where the three suspects who assaulted the elderly couple were reported to have hid themselves.

Other news media outlet reported that the assault took place at around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. The home where the three teens were located is about five blocks away from where the assault took place.

Columbus police say that the assault took place on Falcon Bridge Drive. The three teens who are being questioned allegedly took the necklace of the male victim.

The female victim is believed to have been assaulted also after she was transported to the Mount Carmel East Hospital where she was treated from her injuries. Hospital officials say that she is in a stable condition. The extent of her injuries is not immediately available. It was not reported whether the man was also assaulted during the robbery.

It was not also clear whether the necklace was retrieved.
The names of the three suspects who were taken into custody were not immediately released.
